What counts as an active employee?
An employee whose record is active during the billing period. Exited employees retained for statutory or audit history are not billed as active seats.
Is payroll included?
Payroll is shown publicly only after its release gate closes. Attendance and leave already preserve reviewed inputs, approved time and the leave ledger, so the workflow has clean source data when it launches. LekhaHR does not claim to run payroll or file returns yet.
Does LekhaHR continuously track employee location?
No. Location may be captured only at explicit check-in or check-out and validated against a configured office geofence. There is no background movement tracking, no route history and no monitoring between punches.
Can we keep records for exited employees?
Yes. Exited records can be retained for statutory and audit history, and retained exited records are not billed as active seats.
