Terms of Service

The service

LekhaHR is a human-resource management application, billed per active employee with no base platform fee. What ships today covers core HR records, attendance and leave; other modules are gated behind release milestones and are not offered until they ship. See module status for the current state.

Accounts and admin responsibility

A customer's admin users are responsible for the accuracy of the employee data they enter and for managing who on their team has access to it. LekhaHR enforces the roles and field-level restrictions a customer configures; it does not decide who should have access on a customer's behalf.

Billing

Pricing is per active employee, published on the pricing page, with no base fee or minimum headcount at the rates shown there. Final billing terms (invoicing cadence, cancellation and refund mechanics) are still being finalized ahead of public launch and will be stated precisely once that work is done.

Acceptable use

The service is for managing genuine employee and workforce records. Don't use it to store data you don't have a lawful basis to hold, or to try to access another customer's data or bypass the access controls described on the security page.

Data ownership

Employee and company records entered into LekhaHR belong to the customer that entered them. We operate the software on the customer's behalf; we do not claim ownership of that data. See the privacy policy for how it's handled.

Intellectual property

The LekhaHR application, its design and its underlying software remain the property of Paiteq Private Limited. A customer's subscription grants the right to use the service, not ownership of the software itself.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as it stands today, including the module gates disclosed on this site. We haven't yet finalized specific warranty and liability language — that work happens as part of legal review before public launch, and this section will be replaced with precise terms at that point rather than left as a broad placeholder.

Termination

Either side should be able to end a subscription; the exact notice period and what happens to retained data on termination are still being defined as part of legal review.

Governing law

Governing law and dispute-resolution terms have not been finalized yet. We are not naming a jurisdiction or arbitration process on this draft — that will be added once legal review is complete.

Changes to these terms

We expect this page to change materially once legal review is complete and again as new modules ship. We'll update the date at the top when that happens.
